The AMI Project was a 3-year initiative of the Association of Directors General of English School Boards of Québec (ADGESB). The project supported the Quebec English school boards with the fundamentals of applying Continuous Improvement (CI) processes to solving a problem related to student success or wellbeing.
When working with AMI, educators did not learn passively at one-off-workshops - they receive ongoing accompaniment through each step of the CI process, gained access to just-in-time resources to help them learn individually or as a team, and participated in networking sessions with their peers to share insights about their current improvement initiatives.
The AMI project built on the knowledge around evidence-based practices, data literacy and the evaluation of PD that was gained in the community through the Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Project.
